* ଝୁଡଙ୍ଗରେ ଛୁଇଁ ବିନ୍ଧା ପୋକର ପରିଚାଳନା ପାଇଁ ଏମାମାକ୍ଟିନ୍ ବେଞ୍ଜୋଏଟ୍ ଏକର ପ୍ରତି ୮୦ ଗ୍ରାମ ୨୦୦ ଲିଟର ପାଣିରେ ମିଶାଇ ସିଞ୍ଚନ କରନ୍ତୁ।

* ବାଇଗଣ ଚାରା ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଜମିରେ ଲଗାଇବାର ୩୦ ଦିନ ପରେ ଜମି କୋଡା ଖୋସା କରି ଏକର ପ୍ରତି ୩୦ କି.ଗ୍ରା. ୟୁରିଆ, ୨୦ କି.ଗ୍ରା. ମୁରେଟ ଅଫ ପଟାସ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରନ୍ତୁ। ରୋଇବାର ୪୫ ଦିନ ପରେ ବଳକା ୩୦ କି.ଗ୍ରା ୟୁରିଆକୁ ଶୀର୍ଷ ସାର ରୂପେ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରନ୍ତୁ।

* ବୁଣାଧାନରେ ମୂଳ ସାର ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରି ନଥିଲେ ଏକର ପ୍ରତି ୩୮ କି.ଗ୍ରା. ଡି.ଏ.ପି, ୨୦ କି.ଗ୍ରା. ୟୁରିଆ, ୧୪ କି.ଗ୍ରା. ପଟାସ, ୪ କି.ଗ୍ରା. ବୋରାକ୍ସ ଓ ୧୦ କି.ଗ୍ରା. ଜିଙ୍କ ସଲଫେଟ୍ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରନ୍ତୁ। ବୁଣାଧାନ ୪୫ ଦିନରୁ ଅଧିକ ହୋଇ ଯାଇଥିଲେ ବେଉଷଣ କରନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ।

* ଅଗଷ୍ଟ ଓ ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ମାସ ଟମାଟୋ ଲଗାଇବାର ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ସମୟ। ଉନ୍ନତ ବିହନ କିସମ ଯଥା- ଉତ୍କଳ କୁମାରୀ, ଉତ୍କଳ ଦୀପ୍ତି, ଉତ୍କଳ ରାଜା ଓ ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସମ୍ପଦ। ଏକର ପ୍ରତି ୧୫୦-୨୦୦ ଗ୍ରାମ ବିହନ ଦରକାର।

* ପୋଖରୀରୁ ଅଧିକ ଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନ କରନ୍ତୁ। ମାଛ ଯେପରି ବାହାରକୁ ନ ଆସିବେ ତାର ଯତ୍ନ ନିଅନ୍ତୁ। ଶିକାରୀ ଓ ଅଦରକାରୀ ମାଛ ନିରାକରଣ ପାଇଁ ହେକ୍ଟର ପ୍ରତି ୨.୫ କି.ଗ୍ରା. ମହୁଆ କେକ୍ ୧ ମିଟର ଗଭୀର ପାଣିରେ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରନ୍ତୁ।

* ମୃତ୍ତିକା ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରି ଫଳାଫଳ ଅନୁସାରେ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ଖାଦ୍ୟସାର ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରନ୍ତୁ।

* ରୋଗ ପୋକରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ କୀଟନାଶକରେ ଅଠା ମିଶାଇ ସକାଳେ କିମ୍ବା ସଂନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ସମୟରେ ସିଂଚନ କରନ୍ତୁ।

* ଗାଈମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ତଃକୃମିରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିଷ୍କାର ପିଇବା ପାଣି ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତି ୬ ମାସରେ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଚିକିତ୍ସକଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖାଇ ଝାଡା ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରାଇ କୃମିନାଶକ ଔଷଧ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ।

* ସ୍ତନହରା ରୋଗ ଠାରୁ ଗାଈକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପହ୍ନାରୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ କ୍ଷୀର ଦୁହିଁବା ଜରୁରୀ ଅଟେ। କ୍ଷୀର ଦୁହିଁବା ସମୟରେ ଗାଈକୁ କିଛି ଦାନା କିମ୍ବା ଘାସ ଖାଇବାକୁ ଦେବା ଉଚିତ୍।

* ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ବାଛୁରୀକୁ ୨୦-୨୫ ଗ୍ରାମ ଓ ବଡ଼ ବାଛୁରୀକୁ ୫୦ ଗ୍ରାମ ଖଣିଜ ଲଵଣ ମିଶ୍ରଣ ଖାଦ୍ୟରେ ମିଶାଇ ଦେବା ଜରୁରୀ ଅଟେ. ଦୁଧିଆଳୀ ଗାଈକୁ ୧୦୦-୨୦୦ ଗ୍ରାମ ଦେଲେ ଭଲ

MANDATES OF KVK

The mandate of KVK is Technology Assessment and Demonstration for its Application and Capacity Development. To implement the mandate effectively, the following activities are envisaged.

On-farm testing to assess the location specificity of agricultural technologies under various farming systems.

Frontline demonstrations to establish production potential of technologies on the farmers' fields

Capacity development of farmers and extension personnel to update their knowledge and skills on modern agricultural technologies

To work as Knowledge and Resource Centre of agricultural technologies for supporting initiatives of public, private and voluntary sectors in improving the agricultural economy of the district.

Provide farm advisories using ICT and other media means on varied subjects of interest to farmers.

In addition, KVK would produce quality technological products (seed, planting material, bio-agents, livestock) and make it available to farmers, organize frontline extension activities, identify and document selected farm innovations and converge with ongoing schemes and programmes within the mandate of KVK.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kendrapara has opened tremendous opportunities for income and employment generation at the district level. This farmer centric extension machinery facilitates development of farming community through capacity building, frontline demonstrations, on farm research trials, vocational programmes, extension activities for massive dissemination and percolation of technological interventions. Need based measures to promote diversification, value addition, processing and innovative marketing are also being initiated. Keeping in view the significance of holistic approach, KVK also works in a convergence model with line department officials and other development agencies. KVK is always busy in setting research and extension agenda to carry forward the technologies to the people and empower for their better living. The aim of KVK is to reduce the time lag between generation of technology at the research institution and its transfer to the farmer's fields for increasing production & productivity, income from the agriculture and allied sectors on a sustained basis.
